I paid a visit to the patients who were living in the west part of our hospital now. I met Mr. Jose G. Florentino Jr at there. He shaked hands with me and asked me to take pictures with him. He gave me a letter with Enthusiastic word. I was so surprised about what he said in his letter. About 1 month ago, he complained to my secretary that the dwelling condition in the west part was not good as the east part. He asked to move to the east part. We could not meet the requirements because there were no more room in the east part at that time. He complained for this thing for a while.Today he said that he would not move to the east part, because the doctors and nurses in the west part were very kindly and helpful.

The condition in our hospital is not very good, especially the west part. The room looks older, and the Decoration is not good as the east part. I believe, if our doctors and nurses can serve their patients with love and singsim, they will get the understanding and supports from their patients.

I would like to share Mr. Jose G. Florentino Jr's letter with everybody. I hope you will understand the meaning of “doctor” and “how to care about patients”.

President to Fuda hospital  

To: Management Of  Fuda Cancer Hospital I am Mr. Jose F* J*. I am from Hayward CA USA , I am here in your hospital,  room 708 west building, undergoing treatment for Lung Cancer.   In December of 2006 I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer ,I have done 6 weeks  radiation  and 4 sessions of chemotherapy, I was given a combination of Cesplatin and 5FU chemo drugs which my body wasn't able to take, so I was hospitalized for 9 days, was given 3 blood transfusion and life saving treatments. I was incommunicable for 6 days and on the 8th day I woke up and my Doctor was surprised to see me setting on my bed, to his amazement he said “ I Never Thought You Will Make It“ In spite of my near death experience I still commend my Doctors and Nurses for treating me with my cancer and survived.   In comparison  Mr. Ernesto A* Uy who is also here, was also diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer In Oct 2007, he was also given radiation and  general chemo like me in Philippines and also experienced the  near death experience that I had.   In December 2009 his cancer recurred  and his Doctors recommendation is 5 days consecutive chemo with confinement, he refused and  instead came to Fuda Hospital. Upon arrival here his treatment plan  includes the following  Cryosurgery, Local chemo. CIC and Iodene Seed Implant. During his first visit he was given local chemo and when he was about to undergo cryosurgery, Doctors could not find traces of his tumor so they discontinued the procedure and also iodine seed implant. It seems that his first chemo  has totally eradicated his tumor, that shows only how effective local chemo is.   Last Sept of 2009 again I was  diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer, I was scheduled for lobectomy Oct 5 ,Oct 29 I postponed both and my last surgery schedule was March 11, I went  to see to my Oncology  Doctor and informed him that I am not doing surgery,  instead I am going to Fuda Cancer Hospital. Of course he objected, I said let me go for the sake of science I will submit my self as a Ginuea pig and If everything goes well fine and if not fine with me. I made a firm decision  I will never go to the same painful process again. I'll just wait for my time. I prayed for the Lords guidance for my best option available, that's when I came to watch abs-cbn episode of correspondent  featuring your hospital, and this gives me great hope especially reading also the testimonies of  Mr. Nestor Bonifacio, Mrs Remy Martin and Kathleen David, they all have been an inspiration to us who are here today.   Mr. Phillip Hy  has done an excellent job in answering all my queries and also  the speed of his reply during my appointment, what a performance.   Mr. Nestor introduce me to Dr.Tianyu Lu whom I have submitted all my Pet Scan results and she sent me a very accurate interpretation of said documents,  which was objected right away by my doctor back in the US. A biopsy was taken during my cryosurgery and results has proven that she was right because the result of the biopsy here and the original biopsy taken during my nasopharyngeal cancer matched. Again this proves how good and reliable your services is.   God brought us here to experience such loving care from your Doctors And Nurses, I have noticed the smiles that everybody have. Also their  desire to communicate with all the patients and promptness in addressing the needs of each and everyone. With such great service we could feel that we are in good hands and  full of confidence that we will get the better quality of life that we aim for. The employer employees relationship is so good that makes this excellent performance of their respective duties.   The President Professor  Kechen Xu has spared his timed in spite of  his hectic schedules to visit every single patient in their respective room is another experience that you  will never find except here. I was trilled and honored  to see him and shook hands with him.   Dr. Liang Zhou has perform Cryosurgery satisfactorily and also immediately give his assurance that every thing will be fine. I highly commend him for such a great service. I was brought to the ICU and Dr. Zhixian Chen was on duty that night, he keep vigilant in watching my blood pressure because its coming up and down, you could see in his face his concern and never left until my blood pressure settles. What a great service that is.   The Chemo treatment is such a great experience to take Dr. Xin Zheng was there together with Dr.Zhou Qiang it's wonderful,  no pain, you are awake, you watch thru the monitor where the catheter is going and best thing is I was looking  for those two lumps in my back, they were gone  after one chemo session.   During the second cryosurgery and  brachytherapy I was asked  by Dr, Xu Keqiang  if I want to go to the new building for the procedure since I did some honest comment on fascilities here in west building and He and Dr.Tianyu Lu had promised that they will bring me to the new building to enjoy your state of the art fascilities, I have decided to do it here for the convenience and to my surprised, Dr.Lizhi Niu the president came and shook my hands, this again is a proof that no matter where you are in Fuda West or East building the same doctors are performing every single treatment procedure. I also thank them for their commitment to give full satisfaction to their patients. I would also like to commend  Lian, for her very important task of interpreting our communications with our Doctors. Also Mr, Segundo for his excellent performance of his duties for the  Filipinos here in Fuda. and also the cleaning staff who have a  done great job maintaining our rooms.   Our stay here was enjoyed both by us patients and  also our love ones who enjoyed cooking sessions happy chats with every one. What a pleasant experience. We feel that we are one family, and it  makes us forget that we came here for treatment but we are all like a tourist roaming around  Guangzhou doing shopping .   I would also want to commend Dr Xin Zheng for excellence in preparing my treatment plans also his compassion in dealing with each patient under his care.   It's  a relief that I made the right decision to come and now already enjoying the quality of life as promised, I could feel that I am ready to face a new life.   I would  like to express my heartfelt thanks to all you, I will also share my experience here to all those who are in need and I am attaching my US, Telephone No. 1510 755 5327.
