Dear Mr Xu,

The last time I wrote to thanks Fuda was on 9 Nov 2007.

Once again, my brother and I would like to thanks everyone; Professor.Xu, Professor.Wu, Profressor.Niu, Dr.Zhou, Dr Chang, Dr Wang, Sister Wei and all attending doctors and nurses for their concerted effort; -for providing the best treatment, special care and excellent service.

Your combined procedure and treatment in controlling and combating cancer had proof to be very effective even for a stage 4 patient with lung and brain tumor.

On 17 July 2007, the tumor in the head was removed by resection, followed by cryo-ablation, PDT & 30 Iodine seed implantation.

On the 27 July, the lung was treated with cryo-ablation and 20 Iodine seeding, which was later followed up with transarterial intervention the next day.

Immunotheraphy was also given a few days later.

Duirng the follow up, the head was given some 40 grays of radiotheraphy.

The lung was treated with transarterial intervention  as well as DC+ CTL.

The last cycle of localised chemo was done in Jan 2008.

Eight months after the operation, a recent Pet/CT scan done in Singapore on the 19, Mar 2008 showed significant improvement.

In fact, the scan on the brain showed no traces of cancer.

Thanks to the excellent work by Professor Wu and his team.

The scan on the lung showed no metastasis, the previously noted hilar was also not visible.

There is only a mildly uptake noted on the tissue which could be due to previously treated tumor. However, this could not be completely rule out.

Thanks to Professor Niu and his team of doctor for their excellent contribution.

I pray that the strong team that you have built will continue to work together and grow with strength, knowledge and skill.

I hope that anyone who read this email will find encouragement ,comfort and hope.

I 'm of the view that, Fuda is one of the best place to seek treatment for cancer.

Once again, A Big Thank You to all and especially to Professor Wu who is very professional, caring, approachable and responsible in performing his duty.

At his age of 70+ yr, he is still a valuable asset. Indeed a good role model for many to follow.

It's my hope that he continue to stay on in this hospital, impart the skill and knowledge to his team and continue to contribute as long as possible.

I wish him good health, happiness and long life.
