As a physician, I always insist and emphasize that doctors must have a clear conscience and great confidence.
Doctors are in a noble profession. The professionalism is determined by our services to our patients. Our conscience is to serve our patients with care and to care for them with our services.
As for confidence, we must at all time update ourselves with the latest development in medicine and medical technology and to apply them with great confidence. We must do our best to the benefit of our patients.
As the president of the hospital, I also uphold the following principles: Sincerity and Truthfulness.
We, as doctors, nurses, hospital assistants and other medical personnel shall strive to serve with sincerity. We shall carry out our duties diligently not for the purpose to please the management or for the sake of being seen as doing our work. We must refrain ourselves from soliciting any form of reward be it in cash or in kind.
We must be truthful in our diagnosis, treatments and facilities which have been developed based on high technology and proven scientific research. This is what we call truthfulness.
We prioritize the use of minimally invasive modalities and the integration of various therapies in providing treatments to our patients.
This service is provided by our team of medical workers with the help of social workers. There is still so much to do in order to meet the social demand.
In the provision of medical care of the highest quality to our patients, majority of them with cancer, we shall keep to our mission statement: “Aiding with medical ethics, maintaining high moral in medical practice”.
